[Personal project] Drawing tutorials
As a side project, and to help me understand how I draw better, I'm making a series of drawing tutorials.
Below is the first one for my main character, Redi.
I've noticed that Redi's changed a lot over time, even when not intended, so I'll be looking over this tutorial as time goes on to try and keep my art style more consistent now that I'm happy with her design.

[Personal project] Various updates
It's been a while since I updated, once I return to University I'll likely go into depth about everything animation related I did over the break, but now that I'm a quarter into the holiday, I'm making this post just to take note of things so far, in no particular order.
ODDBALL 3
Progress has slowed for Oddball 3, due to me being at my parent't house and not being able to animate for 20 hours a day like a coffee powered machine.
I've also extended the animation several times, which further delays release, at the moment I'm looking around early September.
For now, here's an animation sample, hopefully this should show why it's taking so long, as it's a bit of a jump for me:
INFLUENCES
I've cleared up my watch list on my DeviantArt and also had a tour of the internet to find a few new influences. I've delved a bit more into the steampunk side, through pictures, music and books.
Abney Park, a steampunk band I like have recently released a new music video, which shows clips sent in from Steampunks across the world, it's a pretty interesting insight into the genre and subculture.
Aside from that, I also bought a new book which has some similar links to something upcoming in the later Oddball chapters. To avoid spoilers just yet, I'll say that I've also been researching a few historic events that are somewhat retold in later episodes.
OUTSIDE ODDBALL
I've also been practising some variety in my work, mainly in character designs. As much as Oddball is likely going to be my main work, I don't want to become a one trick pony, so I've made a few sketches for other characters and universes,as seen below:
I think that roughly covers everything new for now!
